UAB and UTSA have a common open date, but UTSA can't host that day because of the Home & Garden show at the Dome. I give it about a 20% chance of being rescheduled at this point.

I must be going blind because for the life of me I can't find the common open date. Someone with insider knowledge said the game will be rescheduled if neither team makes the conference championship game. It will be played on the weekend of December 2nd.

12/2 makes sense, even 12/9.

Both UAB and UTSA have off 9/30. Houston has off 11/11 (date of UAB/UTSA)

Harvey should be out of Tennessee well before game time for MT vs Vandy. I am expecting that the weather will be cooler and nice for kickoff. Finally... we could be playing Vandy on a day with good weather, knock on wood... Expecting a large crowd in blue (and typical pitiful showing by the smallest fan base in the Sun Belt).

EDIT: Chance of rain already down to 30% for Saturday. Woohoo. Hope it stays like that

Predictions are the rain will end in Birmingham at approximately 1:00 pm Friday.

Good weather for the UAB House Party with Sam Hunt Friday night and great weather for #TheReturn on Saturday.

Prayers are still with Texas and Louisiana.

Go Blazers!

Tues - 100%
Wed - 100%
Thur - 80%
Fri - 50%
Sat - 40%
Lets hope it passes faster than expected.

Update
Wed - 100% -> 80%
Thur - 80% -> 80%
Fri - 50% -> 50%
Sat - 40% -> 20%

If this pattern holds, we will have a rough week for practice but game day should be fine.

We're getting some spinoff storms from "Harvey" starting last night, rain came down pretty good then and expected to do the same today, maybe tomorrow. But, Game Day's forecast is mostly sunny here in Birmingham. Good luck to all respective Conference USA teams on Opening Day...& GO BLAZERS!!!

Looks like it's going to end up being a great day weather wise in Hattiesburg. The forecast for Saturday is high of 86 with humidity around 70% and rain chances at 20%. With the game at 3:00 pm pregame and such will be the hottest part of the day. Hopefully that 20% will provide some overcast skies so people will leave their tailgate spots and come into the stadium.
