A home and home with Buffalo and a 4 game series with Army.

Also add FCS schools Campbell, Charleston Southern, and The Citadel to future schedules.

Army is pretty cool. Grats.

We would kill for a series with Army since Fort Stewart is right down the road from us. Jeff Monken has already gone on record saying he does not want to play us

We had a H&H with Navy a couple years ago.

I'd rather we not schedule those cut blockers again though.

I only went back to 2008

UNT - 2009 and 2010
GSU - 2021 and 2022

And just like that, Coastal already has a better OOC home schedule then GaSo....

A-State lost to Army 38-10 at Army in 2005
A-State beat Army 14-6 in Jonesboro in 2006

Coastal already scheduling better than Kleinline.

Said this a million times all but West Point grads gives two ***** about West Point or Army football. I have no idea why people have this romanticized notion in their head soldiers are huddle around TV's every Saturday when Army is playing. I was in the Army for four years and never once watched an Army football game much less Army / Navy game. West Point grads make up a tiny portion of the Army. ROTC officers and enlisted would rather come to the Houston game than a game against Army.

Are they better than GS's home and homes with other G5's? No. But they're good gets.

No reason to talk it up like it's amazing but no reason to do what you're doing and disparage it.

These are good games that we just scheduled.

I think getting a home and home with Army is a great thing for Coastal. The Buffalo series is ho-hum but most MAC schools are. These series will be a great way to showcase Coastal's new FBS talent

GS fans seem upset. Congrats CCU, great start.

Both are great "gets." Army is a recognizable name and Coastal fans will turn out to see those games regardless of how many Army fans show (and plenty will). Buffalo is a winnable game against a peer institution.

Us getting Kent State sucks us getting Buffalo would suck. Our OOC besides Houston sucks. I have nothing against Coastal. Things can change though. We have Houston but they can suck by the time the get to us. I was mainly just dispelling the myth that an Army base being close matters in getting Army. Between Army and Kent State I would take Army. BTW I am sure Kent St fans are saying the same thing about us.
