Manning served time in prison. What about the racist Arpaio?

That's cause his/her sentence was commuted, someone doesn't know the difference between a pardon and commutation. Although, manning is a traitor and should've served it all out.

I have encountered lots of people on the right who are adamantly in favor of Posse Comitatus Act....but are also in favor of making police look just like the Army. Makes no sense.

If the second amendment is supposedly to protect us from a tyrannical government, how can you support militarization of law enforcement and the second amendment at the same time?

Well, I support the Second Amendment--without it, all the rest mean nothing, IMO. And I oppose the militarization of the police, and the taking of property through asset forfeiture. I hope you find that to be consistent, but I really don't give a damn if you don't.

I support the Second Amendment, I oppose the militarization of the police, and the taking of property through asset forfeiture or eminent domain.

I'm not worried about tyranny from my local police and sheriff's dept. Not even any of the various SC law enforcement agencies. If anything I expect them to be on my side if tyranny ever comes.
