Great interview. We are lucky to have Bowen.

Without getting into the weeds, it is nice to have an AD who doesn't see limitations on the University's ability to compete (of all things) in football.

It is nice reading that our program has improved to the extent that we incur the "Boise effect".

I wish Bowen would inform Tubby that the "limitation" excuse does not apply for basketball, also.

I saw a snippet interview with him in the Football tailgate video. He was talking about the kinds of fans that were in Memphis. He gets it.

Meanwhile, I am a bit concerned that financing for phase two is not finalized.

It's no secret that Tom Bowen has been applying for almost every P5 AD job that comes along.

I kind of like him now, though, now that I am more of a FB fan.

You could tell when this guy was hired that he would be a good fit for football. I have thought for years that the university and city held the football program down at the request of the SEC. Too many good athletes here. Boise State wishes they had the potential recruits we have. Boise State has to go to California for players. One advantage they have over the Tigers is that there's no competition for players in-state.

Bowen is Tubby's boss and when Bowen mentioned no ceilings for football it naturally prompts the question if the same expectation applies to basketball.
