For fun, who ya got?

Newcomer of the year- Parker, feel like we are going to see a bunch of this kid all over the field. Speed kills. If I had to handicap a freshman I'd go Nettles, always feels like a skills position has the best chance to impact right away.

Offensive MVP- Huff, but I think Beebe will be a close 2nd. And like most years it should probably go to the line.

Defensive MVP- Jones. Always felt like this kid was everything a Huskie is supposed to be. I feel like he's going to be the leader and star of the defense. Lurry, Smalls and Allen were my other contenders.

Most improved- I'm praying it's Graham, lol.

Rod Carey - Coach of the Year

Ill go with Mister as the surprise of the year.

My only goal for NIU this season is to win one of the following games

Nebraska
SDSU
Toledo

That's a tall order since all three are about preseason top 40 to 50 and on the road, but the occasional big win is what seems to keep fan interest going almost as much as championships. At this point in time, keeping up fan interest is huge.

NKOTB- Williams, Parchment, Webster
O-MVP- Huff, Scharping, DJ.Brown
D-MVP- Corcoran, Lurry, Johnson

If Huff misses a block in Game 1 he will not be MVP.

I hope the committee is not too creeped out about how I eat all the hot dogs. I buy 'em by the sack and enjoy eating them by the urinal trough. For some reason, the ambience there makes me hungry.

Gonna go on a limb and say Spencer Tears will live up to the hype and have a big year this year.... Offensive MVP.
