Boubacar Toure?
So, is Toure's basketball career at GCU done? I don't see him on GCU's 2017-18 roster.

RE: Boubacar Toure?
I'm gonna say it was the ACL injury from last year combined with the big guys we brought in.

He was gone either way when he went down with an injury. Cant stick with a guy who can't stay healthy.

Feel for Boubacar as a person and player, but you are right, we can't stick with a guy who cannot stay healthy. Hopefully Blumbergs and Lever will stay healthy. We could certainly benefit from a strong low post presence.

RE: Boubacar Toure?
I think they will be fine post players but I hate expecting to much from 1st year players at the D1 level.

RE: Boubacar Toure?
I think Kerwin Smith and Alessandro Lever will prove to be GCU's true lower post players. Whereas, I see Roberts Blumbergs being more of a stretch-4. I thought Matt Jackson was going to be a pretty good stretch-4 before his lower back problems. And, although undersized, Keonta Vernon will be tough around the rim. What he lacks in height, he makes up in athleticism and bulk.
