JSU does have some nice looking co-eds so they do have that going for them.

Brief mention of JMU towards the end of the game as they discussed where JSU might rank in terms of the title contenders. Didn't see any of the first half so I can't say if there were earlier mentions.

This 'steaming pile of crap' has had a lot of talent come out of it under Huesman. It didn't all go away last year. I just looked up UTC under Huesman had 4 players drafted in the last 5 drafts, including an OT in the 6th Round of this past draft. I'm sure they had a lot of UDFAs.
This past season they had an All American De end that like the VU and 2 YSU de ends, would have been drafted if not for a bulging disc discovered at the NFL Combine. He was projected 5th round. Ended up signing as a UDFA with Patriots.
Huesman's son was the UTC starting QB the last 4 seasons. Was a 3 time (2014-2016) So-Con Offensive POTY/3 time All American. Kind of like a white Rodney Landers. Now a rookie FB with the NY Giants. He had to to be a major reason for their success the past 3 playoff seasons.
Huesman's replacement at QB was suspended and the backup was obviously struggling. Add that to playing a good defense and that = not looking good on offense.

Thinking we're on the same page here. I think Huesman either did a wonderful job of coaching those kids up, or there was an enigma of some sort.
While I hope for the latter, I'm wondering if Huesman is just a heck of a coach.
I want RU to be awful, make no mistake.

If that is the case they will be like SHSU- wouldn't get a seed at 9-2, esp if UTC doesn't end up making the playoffs. The committee would give the #8 seed to a 3 loss team (like they have the last 3 years) with a stronger resume...

I think Huesman is a very good HC, including being a good recruiter. RU got a very good hire IMHOP. They lost ALOT from last season, but have Lauretta and enough talent coming back I expect Huesman will have them in the playoffs..

Holy cr*p....just flipped over to the USF/SJSU game. Must be dozens of people there. If USF is the 19th ranked FBS program in the country, then there's no way we'd be less than 18th. Now, I don't really think we're the 18th best team overall, but come on....JMU would hang fifty on SJSU with blindfolds on.

They mentioned us in the 1st half when they were talking about the #1 FCS team and defending champion on a graphic. Our new logo has a lot of pop to it.
