The much touted "coaching up" skills of Tubby has not produced past results expected of Tiger coaches and evidence does not support future results different from the past.

LOL, Stammers justly hammered Pastner for his failures.

Tubby Smith is our coach now.

I believe that this is the first thread I have started on Tubby not being a good coach. I respond in threads and very rarely initiate my opinion. My first Tubby thread makes it to the smack forum; it is what it is I guess. The truth is, this should be the knockout punch to anyone who harbors any type of fantasy about Tubby being a good coach. The facts are there and there is no way to avoid them or make excuses for Tubby.

He just isn't a good coach.

I love coaches that improve every year and go to the NCAA Tournament every year, until they stop doing that. I love novice football coaches who are in over their head but show improvement. I supported Larry getting a 3rd season, TW until his last two seasons, Pastner until the end of 2014, and was tolerant of Tic Price and Rip.

I have all the love in the world to give until there isn't any left.

He just isn't a good coach.

To say the guy isn't a good coach is ludicrous. You want facts, look up his record and his accomplishments as a coach. He's been doing it for a long time. Just google it. Spin it, make your excuses for cherry-picking whatever you want and none of it points to any semblance of the guy not being a good coach. It's quite the opposite and you know it, you just don't like the guy for some reason. You even said the guy isn't qualified to be the coach here. That alone qualifies you as someone who has no idea of what they are are talking about.
You're a really good fan, poster here and probably a really good guy, but your distain and apparent growing ire for this coach has somehow clouded you logic on the subject.
We've all got opinions, cool, but come on man.

I wish he'd bust out with something kewl or cute though instead of hunkering down. There's plenty of dicks on this board but not enough balls.

shrug. Hardly anyone takes a real stand these days. Stammers takes a Stand. People can't stand it.

Stammers has opinions as does everyone here. He states them and some disagree with them and voice their own take.
It's a blind message board on the Internet. Taking a stand? Interesting, but call it what you will...
