I thought Charlie Strong was going to be a good hire, but it looks like he's proving me wrong. Glad UC didn't go after him.

That was a brutal quarter for USF. You have to admit that. But I'm glad they figured it out. Well, maybe not "glad" but...

Strong did make an absurd decision at the end of the 1st half to let the clock run out when they had the ball on the SJSU 40. It was indefensible.

I have to say I am more excited about UC football starting than for Bengals football starting. That's a first for me.

I've felt this way since probably Dantonio's 3rd year. I love the college atmosphere and, when the atmosphere at Nippert became "big time", it definitely turned me off to the Paul Brown stadium NFL "atmosphere". I still follow and root for the Bengals but I don't lose sleep over losses...even in the playoffs. UC, being my Alma mater, is different.

a loss by Uc football feels like a punch to the lower pecans. An nfl loss, not so much.

NFL is a better game, but NCAA is way more fun as a total experience.

NCAA football averages almost 20 plays per game more than an NFL game. That's why I love it.
