I started out trying to watch it on C-USATV, but could not get it, so went back to ODU's Monarch Media and was able to watch just fine. Missed about two or so minutes.
IMO the starter will be BL vs Albany but we're going to see DA and possibly Hoy play. Going forward in the season I think we'll see both BL and DA play the most. I feel Williams has to much future potential to play this year when we have 3 other qbs.
Glad to hear the linebackers look good. I'm confident with the younger guys in CUSA, the trick will be to keep them from getting injured against the ACC teams. Glad to hear BW has faith in the QB situation too, but I take that with a grain of salt after the Bentley debacle. I know today was a pep rally basically, but its good to hear so much optimism.
DP did a good job! We didnt even get a good report from the VA Pilot about the scrimmage last Saturday.
From the DP in regards to Blake LaRussa “We had our first big scrimmage last Saturday night and he goes 8-for-10 with one drop and one throw that was slightly behind the receiver in the end zone,” Wilder said. “Point being that he was on all 10 of his throws.”

Makes sense. He's earned his shot to start.
I'm excited for him and his family. I know there will be issues vs. bigger schools but to see a kid who loves ODU, dreams to one day play for ODU, walkon and earn a scholarship, fight his way to the top while undersize vs. 2 to 3 star recruited QBs is a great dream to sell to future local guys. Honesty I know he will only be QB1 for a short time. He has 3 QBs at his heels fighting every day for the QB1 job.

Great kid. Great story. Really happy for Blake. With his measurables, you know he earned the job. You can be sure of one thing....Blake will be prepared and will put his best effort on and off the field.
Im a skeptic of LaRussa like a lot of others, but I am not going in thinking this is a short term gig. He's got Williams on his tail for sure, but IMO, he has beating out Bentley and now Arnold straight up. Maybe Hoy doesn't have the experience down yet and can catch up, but BL has earned this and that is a testament to the kid. He's a had a lot to overcome to become the starter.
