The 95% doesn't sound credible. And yes, the FBI link in the article didn't tell you anything. But the other stats are believable and they did come up with those numbers from somewhere. How much are lies, damned lies and statistics and how much are relevant is hard to say. They were lazy with their support.

03-lol I don't think that's the rationale you really want to go by, is it? 03-wink

If you call them liars, then its up to you to back it up. They gave detailed specific information. And its not some random blog or Facebook post. So other than the 95%, it seems credible.

You are calling them liars with absolutely nothing to back it up. So are you going with that rationale?

Perhaps you can point to the post where I called the author a liar?

What I said was that she posted a **** article that does not support her claims. This is true. When an author fails to prove their assertions, it is a waste of time to try and find the figures to prove or disprove those assertions because I cannot in any way ascertain the methodology or source used to arrive at them in the first place.

That is why the SOP around here for years has been for the poster to defend the positions they present. FWIW, that's right in the AUP. It is YOUR job to provide the facts to support the claims made in the article in the OP by either posting a credible article or the actual cited statistics. It's not my job to prove something false that was never proven true.

From a purely factual standpoint... The average illegal alien has committed an infinitely higher number of crimes than the average American citizen.

American: 0
All illegal Aliens: 1

Undocumented immigrants may have committed one crime when they crossed the border but that does not prove "from a purely factual standpoint" they they have committed a higher number of crimes than the average American citizen.

In fact, they often commit less because they don't want the law to find out they aren't supposed to be here.
