Seeing the old Parliament House imploded reminds me of when they tried to do the same to the old Tutwiler Hotel on 20th Street North. After the dust and smoke settled, the building was still largely intact and had to be taken down by cutting torch and wrecking ball - the old fashioned way. It did not go quietly into that good night.
