You old bastards and your obsession with the mid 2000s "traditional uniforms" are great. Because over the 50 years or whatever of NIU football, those are CLEARLY the only jersey combos that have ever been worn.

Not sure I agree with you that tradition is important, but those 2002-2012 uniforms just look the sharpest.

Yep, our school colors are red and black. The best are red jerseys and black pants (or even black jerseys and red pants). White is not a school color (for home uniforms). The all whites look like they are powder puffs in pajamas.

I agree with DF on white uniforms. Those are for the road. But - the idea that our crowds are down because we have too many uniform combinations is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I also prefer the red and black. They're good colors - wear them.

I doubt it affects the attendance, but I have areal concern that the obsession with the ever-changing uniforms drains the players' focus on the upcoming game and opponent.
