South Alabama host Alabama Friday. We dropped two to Tulane..We were up 2 sets to one in one match. Jaguar volleyball continues its tradition.

AState has a match at Southern Illinois tonight before hosting Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, and SMU this weekend. Big names, but all three of those games are winnable. Our record against Ole Miss though probably indicates a win is unlikely. SMU is a middle tier AAC, we should beat them.

Cajuns stand 1-1 after splitting two matches with Tulane. Won the first 3-1 and lost the second 0-3. Scheduled to play Southern Miss in Hattiesburg tomorrow (8/30).

AState defeats Southern Illinois in 4 sets.

UTA loses in five to Belmont, sweeps Middle Tennessee and Idaho State in Nashville. If there were tiebreakers, UTA should win the tourney as Idaho State beat Belmont in five. UTA scores more points overall than ISU after both teams claimed the same number of sets.

We're off to a poor start this season. 0-2 at our own tournament this weekend with a 4 set loss to Virginia Tech and a 3 set blowout at the hands of SMU. Finish the tournament with Ole Miss tonight.

Looks like we're still trying to overcome the loss of some key players.
