Haha If we have to have a program like UCONN's in order to send out that many NFL players I'll happily pass.
Heck I'd say we've out performed the other programs mentioned as well except maybe SDSU and Boise. We're about even with them right now.

Never played Tulsa. Memphis wasn't the top of the AAC last year. We spanked them too.
.........wait a minute let me catch my breath
Yep Tulsa and Boise are synonymous among the G5 okay okay I'll quit
Thanks for the good laugh though

CIncinnati hasn't had many players drafted the last five years but we currently have 20 guys currently on NFL rosters. IIRC that is among the top 5 in the G5.

6 in the last two years, and could have 5 drafted this year. I think we're okay.

Yawn.
Not a measure of a college football program's strength. If anything it is effect not cause of program quality.
Possibly provides some insight into overall talent level of a program, but there are plenty of examples of talent not delivering results.
Navy is T102. Over the same five years measured, Navy is 16-3 against AAC programs, 5-9 against other P6, 15-8 against G4s. Winning at .682 clip overall. (For G4 fans who care more about exhibition game records than regular season, bowl record is 2-1 vs G4 in that time and 1-1 against power 6)

We all know that (a) Navy has a "decided schematic advantage" against a lot of teams because of the wishbone/triple option offense, and (b) yes, coaching surely does matter, as Bum Philips once said of Don Shula "he could take take his players and beat yours, or take your players and beat his". And Navy has had good coaching in recent years.
But that's an exception, and even Navy's success is relative, it's not like you guys have lived in the Top 10 and played in lots of BCS bowls. The schools that do, the Alabamas and FSUs and Oklahomas and Ohio States, are almost always also near the top in the recruiting rankings and the NFL draft rankings. Talent matters greatly.

Number of letters in your name? That checks out with Tulsa, Boise, and UConn....

RE: CFN Five Year Program Analysis: Draft Rankings
Hmm big deal those five years USF was digging itself out of being Holtzed
2016. 11-2 (3)
2015. 8-5. (0)
2014. 5-7. (2)
2013. 2-10 (1)
2012. 3-9. (3)
We will do much better once those three years wear off. But even at that there have been 9 which would put us higher than what they quote.

G5
40 - Louisiana Tech, Boise State, UConn
48 - SDSU
52 - WKU

So you guys have NFL quality players and still suck at the G4 level. Nice.
