Love your new stadium!
It's truly amazing even after having seen it's two previous incarnations

It's going to be a heck of a day to be a Blazer. I'm pumped, I think our tailgating/game atmosphere is going to be incredible. It's going to be one huge family reunion in the reserved tailgating area. Btw, I love what Georgia State has done with Turner. That's huge for your program and love seeing one of my favorite stadiums still getting some use.

I think tailgating is going to be unlike anything we've ever had. It's going to be fun!

I know it's hard to tell but how many are you expecting?

I would expect well over 20k. First game back, playing instate Alabama St, they should bring a decent crowd too.

Hard to know exactly how it will go, with UAT still sitting on top of the football world the other FBS schools not called Auburn in this state are in an uphill battle. UA and AU hit some bad years, and eventually they will, it will help UAB, Troy and South Alabama.

I expect at least 30,000-35,000. We had close to that in 2014 when we played Alabama A&M.

I hear ya. We open on Thursday night B's Tennessee State and I have no idea what to expect. Especially since overnight the forecast has gone from 20% rain chance to now 80% and all.day.

In a moment of extreme boredom, I counted the available seats on the home side yesterday...there were approx. 5,200. I wasn't bored enough to continue counting the away side.

That dragon head is huge.

I noticed in these drone shots the lower tarps on each side are gone.

Yes, they are gone. Took them out a couple of weeks ago. Good decision.
