RE: Games on Facebook
By the time the Millenial kids have kids that are reaching teenage and young adult age, cord cutter numbers are going to explode. The only people that are hanging on to cable/satellite are the slow to change older gens.

The downside of ala carte is that it's looking like everyone is going to develop or acquire the technology and do their own thing making it more expensive. It won't be long before Facebook starts making its own and charging for content.

The older end of what the technical definition of millenial(just a couple years older than myself) have kids in middle school maybe even high school.

It freaked me out when I realized that the kids that got pregnant when I was in high school have high school aged kids themselves now.

What I find funny is that some of my contemporaries(born in the late seventies to early eighties) have taken to calling themselves "old millenials" or "X-enials".

Now I'll certaily admit that I(born '83) feel closer to my friends/peers in their early forties than most of the people I know in their twenties, but I expect that happens with anyone born towards the beginning of any generation, it may even be exacerbated by the exponential tech advancements in my lifetime(I remember getting the internet, I had a pager, I got a cell phone at 16 but it was a nokia brick, I was well into my twenties when smart phones came out), but I think saying "no, I don't care if I fall in the age range, I'm not a millenial!" is a pretty millenial thing to say.

Just go on FB on your computer and hook you usb up and boom you have arrived in the year 2017.

*hdmi

Problem is that the Desktop and the Living room TV are WAY to far to connect a HDMI cable. Ill see if the PS4 has a browser built into it. Worst comes to worst I have a 30" monitor for my computer so that wont be too bad if it comes down to that.

buy a sega dreamcast and step into the future, bro

That's a no no....

you stepped out of character

"clt says"

while streaming is better than nothing at all.....it's still not TV. I watched some of the NFL preseason games on Youtube the other day and sport will never be as good streaming as it is on normal TV. To me it seems like you are seeing 3 out of every 4 or 5 steps. Movies and TV shows, there's very little to no difference streamed vs cable. Fast moving sports...huge difference. But still better than none.

I'll say that that description is almost exactly me, but I still feel like the idea of a "microgeneration" is a fairly millenial idea.

I don't sweat it either way.

The idea of "microgenerations" has been around since before Millenial's were born...

I've watched games non twitter, ESPN 3 & a ton of other streaming sites. What is the difference? Oh it's Facebook??? Oh you must be toooooo COOL then if you think you're above watching an athletic event on a streaming service you deem beneath you. LOL.

The Big Sky Conference I think it is...has a deal with another internet platform called Pluto. Its going to show over 700(?) events for free.
So although Pluto has 6 million viewers....the Big Sky won't get any money from the deal, just exposure.
