It's official. The new name for the Shocker vs. Cane rivalry. Some WSU fan on the shocker board came up with The Arkansas River Rumble which sounds way cooler to me. I wish they had that option, but this is a decent name.

To be honest, none of the names you came up with sounded any better. Legend's Cup? No one would even know what that is.

Havoc in the Heartland will work just fine for TV and other promotional purposes.

Meh. I couldn't care less about Tulsa. It's commendable that both athletic departments are trying to reignite a dead rivalry but we could dominate this thing and it wouldn't even hit my radar. And for the record, this isn't a knock on Tulsa. If it were any other AAC school I wouldn't care and I don't expect Tulsa fans to have a vested interest either.
