Saturday football games
In contrast, the Redhawks play 8 games on Saturday compared to UT's 6. It should be a very good Miami Squad, but they don't get good attendance at their games with the exception of the UC or OHIO U games

EMU only gets 6 as well, 4 of which are on the road. 2 Saturday home games the entire season! MACtion is destroying the league. The league sold it's soul for a few measly pennies. Terrible for any fans.

RE: Saturday football games
For me the whole experience includes tailgating and going to the games. Our schedule only legitimately allows for two maybe three games where fans can come to campus and tailgate. For us working studs those evening games are party killers, I'll be lucky to make kick-off. Only the Tulsa and Akron (pending kickoff time), allow for any type of tailgating.
TV is also messing with our homecoming activities. I'm hearing of the two possible kickoff times, that if TV picks the noon time, the homecoming parade will be moved to Sunday. If its the later time, I think 3 or 3:30 p.m. kickoff, the homecoming parade will be at 10 a.m. Yeah I can tailgate for the homecoming game, but it won't be the same, especially if its the early time. I'll be serving eggs.
