Santa Fe Antifa — antifa is a portmanteau for “anti-facism” and is used by confrontational and sometimes violent leftist groups around the country — on Monday posted a message on its Facebook page directed at Santa Fe Power, which has described itself as being non-partisan but against the “far left” and which attracted criticism when one of its leaders posted a racist meme likening a black congresswoman to an orangutan.

“See you tonight at the Solidarity ceremony at the plaza @6pm,” said the post from Santa Fe Antifa, referring to an anti-racism rally held Monday night on the Plaza that was organized by City Hall and church leaders.

“We have been having our own issues of racism and fascists seeping into the city. Santa Fe Power ‘Back To The People’ we are watching all of your actions and will respond with counter actions,” the post said. “You may be able to (expletive) with the public with your LARGE presence and loaded sidearms at city hall, but you do not intimidate us. Your time will come.”

The gun reference was to a man who frequently posts on the Santa Fe Power Facebook page who spoke before the City Council last week while wearing a holstered handgun.

Santa Fe Power responded with a post of its own: “This is the hate group threatening our SFP families and movement for the people against government corruption!”

The banner on the “Santifa” Facebook page proclaims, “We build revolution warriors. We train and implement revolutionary tactics.” The local antifa Facebook page has been up since at least December. In March, it announced an anti-racism “neighborhood watch” in Santa Fe.

“Hello comrades,” the message begins. “We are rolling out our Anti-Racist Neighborhood Watch in Santa Fe. If you are aware of racism, bigotry, hate-speech, or any types of oppressive and hateful behavior that needs to be addressed, send us a message with details and an ‘ask.'”

The group did not immediately respond to a reporter’s message on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, antifa groups in Berkeley, Calif., some dressed as ninjas, smashed windows and set fires in riots over provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos speaking there.

The New York Times, reporting on the violence around a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., in which one counterprotester was killed Saturday, wrote that antifa groups “have been physically confronting neo-Nazis, white supremacists and, in some cases, speakers who merely challenge the boundaries of political correctness on college campuses across the country.”

Of course they are. But for the right reasons. So they can do but.

The rules are different for them.

All these S O's have to be arrested for inciting violence. They're like NK, for so long no one took it upon themselves to let NK in no uncertain terms know that they would be destroyed if they screwed up. Everyone would walk on eggshells in order not to anger NK. Finally, we have a president with cajones who told them matter of factly what was in store for them and guess what the pansies in our country are so upset with the tough talk. I'm glad I'm 69 years old because this country is going to pot, or should I say into Socialism or Communism not too much difference there.

I got out of subject but I think you got my drift. These Antifas and Anarchists need a vacation in a nicely furnished all paid vacation with some cholos and other misfits in a cell. I think there should be an Anti-Antifa watch so that the terrorist who pretend to be not racist bigots can be dealt with appropriately by the police....unless of course they are protected like the media protects them.
