I haven't heard anything as well.

I wonder how many season tickets have been sold. I know the criteria I'm using to choose a seat, though I'm not certain my ODAF ranking will allow me to get the ideal tickets I want just yet.

Let me guess: best view of the dancers. 03-thumbsup

Fear not, most of the rest of us are too old to be any competition.

I read somewhere (in the VP maybe) that season ticket sales this year were about 75% of last year. So if anyone knows and can remember how many we sold last year some of you math guys can figure out how many this year for us math illiterates and we will know. 04-bow

Is that 75% of what the final total was last year? I know I haven't renewed yet, but will before the season starts so there will likely be some more.

Yes, as I understand it.

RE: Basketball ReSeating
As much as it sucks, having a down trend during a reseating year is actually a good thing for those of us who renew every year. We get slightly better seats this way... gotta find the silver lining somewhere right ?

People are not happy with the product being put on the floor and with the lack of new ideas for student and fan engagement.

Or it may also be that they are turned off by or caught onto the BOGO deals that keep popping a month or so after they have already purchased their tickets. The fact that there really isn't a bad seat in the TED doesn't help ODAF's cause.

There does seem to be a general lack of excitement about hoops lately. I guess low scoring teams, a conference of teams that are unfamiliar and uninspiring and a way too long drought from the NCAAs will do that. Thats why I think unless JJ takes us to the NCAAs this season the program simply can't afford to carry him any longer, as much as the admin seems to like him as a person and administrator. Losing revenue and visibility for your most prominent public facing effort is bound to cause a reaction.

If ticket sales remained unchanged, JJ would be safe forever, even if he never went to the Dance (OK slight exaggeration), declining revenue will push him out the door faster than lack of on court performance. Of course the 2 are connected, just saying.

Just got two emails from ODAF with times. No clue as to what email is for men's or women's.

EDIT: If I had dug deeper and looked at the link it would have told me. Not clear at all. It looks like the men start Monday and the women Thursday? Are three days enough to power through the men?

Is it worth going in for? I've always done it online but wanted to hear what others thought.

I have done both...about the same unless you need to be on campus for a reason.
