I'm sorry if you are not understanding what I have been saying on this subject so let me try and be more clear.

Many confederate statues will be removed in the coming years. What I said was that what happened in Virginia will only make that process happen faster.

The other statues that I was talking about were non confederate statues like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

I laughed at the notion that people in this forum would put Robert E. Lee on the same moral plain as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson because it reminded me of my middle school students that thought that all old dead people lived during the same time. Then I saw our POTUS do the same thing.

You see, this is what happens when people aren't educated.

Ignorance and hate go hand and hand.
