I'm sorry if you are not understanding what I have been saying on this subject so let me try and be more clear.

Many confederate statues will be removed in the coming years. What I said was that what happened in Virginia will only make that process happen faster.

The other statues that I was talking about were non confederate statues like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

I laughed at the notion that people in this forum would put Robert E. Lee on the same moral plain as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson because it reminded me of my middle school students that thought that all old dead people lived during the same time. Then I saw our POTUS do the same thing.

You see, this is what happens when people aren't educated.

When did pointing out that you are nothing more than an inconsistent, race-baiting, bigoted troll become a personal attack? Clearly, you have no real knowledge of Lee, his military service to both the USA and CSA, and his actions after the war. Questioning his moral standing without bringing up Grant's tactics during the war show a clear bias and render your entire point meaningless.

Advocating for the removal of historical monuments is the ignorance.

Roy Cooper will have a tough hill to climb to get this done.
