I agree that winning games is the most (by far IMO) salient metric for gauging Tubby's success. However, it is part of his job and he is well paid to sufficiently discharge all his duties.

You bring up a good point about Fuente. There are plenty of examples of college coaches who are not really PR guys. In fact, probably more who are not than who are. Heck, I never really got upset with Pastner's media routine the way so many here did. Media is media. It doesn't drive my behavior. News may but PR does not. Winning matters.
