Lots of shared jersey numbers this week...



Hunter Etheridge is a R-Jr. QB from Clayton, NC. He played his HS ball at Woodberry Forest. His twin brother, Ryan (#96), is a Sr. D-Lineman. Hunter has made the All-CAA Academic Team multiple times along with both Dean's and President's List achievements. Nice! Good luck to Hunter this fall as he adds depth at the QB position.

Tabb Patrick is a R-Fr. LB from Mechanicsville via Hanover HS. Tabb redshirted a season ago and will look to contribute most likely via special teams this year and learn from all the upper-class talent at a loaded position. He is majoring in Political Science and his bio advises us he was a National Honor Society and Beta Club member in HS. Good luck to Tabb this fall. I look forward to seeing his growth in a purple uni in the coming years.

We could merge Hunter and Tab together...there was a 50s heartthrob by the name Tab Hunter. No doubt a fabricated moniker. Apparently the guy is still alive.

Personally, to me the word "Tab" conjures up memories of a horrible diet soft drink once made by Coca-cola. Not sure if its still made...hopefully not.

I believe that Tab is still made, was horrible beyond belief. Apparently it is popular in some overseas countries, especially in Africa.

I lived on Tab for many years in the '80's and '90's.....I still remember working for a small college in an even smaller town in Georgia many years ago and going to one of those little meat-and-three vegetable restaurants for lunch every day. The waitress was appalled that I ordered Tab instead of sweet tea...thought she was going to refuse to serve me.

That said, I am very surprised I have any kind of stomach left since that stuff was so bad.

No, but I think Diet Coke replaced it in Coca-Colas lineup (at least domestically)
