I used to post here before we got kicked out of real CUSA, and UH, ECU, etc. had some really good posters, but I really don't need to know that Denton is America's #1 Front Porch Town or that FIU used to be called the Rancid Ranchers or whatever.

a S. Miss fan just listed a game S. Miss loss 40-0 as a win vs Bama. Bama had to forfeit the game but it still doesn't change the outcome. Bama 40-S. Miss 0.

I listed a record against a team from a website, didn't go and review every single game result. Actually don't care that much.

A win is NOT a win if you get caught cheating.

And yeah, I post here occasionally, but I'm not getting into it with WKU. They've got a good football team lately, no denying it.

We actually lead the series 3-2 over the Tide but 1 game was a forfeit W. We also won the last 2 games in the series and the last time they won the SEC in 1999.

It's amazing how programs with NO big wins in their history try to demean USM solely because the Golden Eagles have been dominated by Alabumble. Ahem...so has everyone else, duh, including every SEC team (Have you ever seen OP's and MSUcks record against Bama? ALL HOME AND HOME? and they lost to many so-called "bad" Alabama squads in that number)

USM has major wins and decent all-time records against OP/MSUcks/Georgia/LSU/Auburn and Kentucky....ALMOST EVERY GAME ON THE ROAD...which is far better than EVERY football team in C-USA (many have NEVER even won a game against SEC competition, whether or not the SEC team had a winning record or NOT ).

I assume even those couple of deranged WKU fans on here would agree USM woulda won more IF any of those series were home-and home. So we were always immediately behind the 8-ball, but usually acquitted ourselves quite well....and to throw all those stats around as if our SEC record was compiled on a level playing field is ridiculous.

I'll stack our wins over #3 OP, #3 FSU, #1 Alabama, #7 TCU and Houston (blew both team's chances for a BCS bowl) and many other top 10 and 20 wins, with any team outside the Top 5 conferences (and better than many in it) and by far better than ANY TEAM IN C-USA.

So, 3 great years in college football is like finishing the first mile in a marathon....a good accomplishment, but you've still got a tough, long road ahead of you!
