Yea but they do grow some great pot not far from there.

On govt. property. How far from Tiger Lane do you think there is some awesome pot grown? 03-phew

I thought the area around Tiger Lane was some of the most desired neighborhoods in Memphis to live. When someone made a post about the blight south of the Fairgrounds, they were scolded and call racist. Now you claim pot is being grown there. SMH

Are you saying only poor people grow their own pot?

Not just poor people. If you grow enough good pot, your money problems are over

Instead of parking in your spots on Tigerlane just move a couple hundred yards south to the group of trees without power and facilities and you have the grove.

But do not forget the second tree is for #1, and the third tree is for #2

It's actually garbage pot. There are numerous reports available about the quality of product they produce.

Well that is to be debated. Maybe the stuff grown outdoors is bad but they also have top grade being grown indoors. A number of years ago, several clones were taken from that campus and is known as g-13. G-13 is the building block in many of the high grade strains we know of today being sold in dispensaries all over the country.

Duck Hill Thrill used to be a pretty good strain

Stop comparing ourselves to those losers and just keep showing that bbq and chicken!

Because it's a nationally known thing and considered one of the best tailgate spots in the country. They've had ESPN Gameday. Many Tiger Fans have been there. How can one not compare our great spot to give the ignorant world a good idea of what we have.

Don't hate on your fellow Tiger Fans and their words.

Well, then, I think we should compare ourselves to a really fine tailgating school, like Missouri who founded homecoming, or Oregon who lets their students out to tailgate during halftime and has one of the best tailgating scenes I have ever witnessed, or Bama or LSU or Michigan. 04-cheers

I don't think anyone can deny the Grove's reputation. Personally, I think the Grove is wayyyyyy overrated. I'm clearly in the minority, and that's A OK. I've been to the Grove several times and it doesn't do much for me. Maybe that would be different if I was an OM fan. Probably why Btiger enjoys it.

RE: Tiger Lane
The Grove used to be so much more pleasant. Back in the 1980's, before it got so crowded, the traffic was manageable, you could drive on campus and park right next to the Grove, and after the game the band split up into small groups and serenaded the tailgaters. That was magical at night. What always impressed me, though, is that many tailgaters stayed and partied for quite a while after the games while the traffic cleared. They didn't all rush home like the vast majority of our Tiger suburbanites.

Now, y'all don't be calling me a Rebel/Black Bear/Land Shark like Btiger. My late, beloved father was the biggest Ole Miss fan in the world, and I spent many fine fall afternoons in the Grove with him as a young person. He also took me to Crump Stadium in 1963 to my first football game where we played those Rebs to a 3-3 tie, and that instilled in me a lifelong passion for football.

I have never visited a Black Bear tailgate, but it looks pretentious to me. I prefer a down-to-earth setting like Tiger Lane.

Cool story about your dad. My first game was at Crump too. Catholic High vs CBC.

But that score was 0-0.
