We can't guarantee we'll be underdogs at SMU. That line will be set reflective of how we play in our first two games.

My expectation is that we'll be underdogs against both SMU and Georgia Southern, and then be favorites every week until Troy, which is probably a toss up at this point.

I'm taking this season one week at a time with this team-there's potential to be awesome but we all know how slow going stAte typically starts the seasons off

stAte will be underdogs @Nebraska but the game is very winnable, at home against Miami, but they have a new general behind center so that game won't be impossible to win at home, and could be underdogs @SMU depending how their P5 games went prior to that game. SMU should be greatly improved.

stAte needs to be 2-2 at least. 3-1 would prove they are the favorites going into conference play... barring an undefeated App or something.
