RE: Jamaica Trip
Why are he luncheons a PR group? I've found them a lot more informative than the QB Club. Tony is very frank and informative with Tribe supporters at the lunches and the players and coaches eat and talk with everyone informally as well as formally....

Frankly, I find them a lot better than the QB Club Monday night meetings I attend.

RE: Jamaica Trip
Did the luncheon group start the Gold Rush game?

Did the luncheon group start the passing of the hat for the Jamaica trip?

Get real.

This booster group is an attempt to get real and serious ... don't conflate the two. They each have their separate purposes, and some folks may be part of both groups, but don't conflate the two.

Besides all of that - I don't like the idea of meetings in the middle of a work day. Cuts out most non-retired fans.

This is the main difference. I haven't been able to make any of the luncheons for this reason.

RE: Jamaica Trip
One of my frustrations living in Charleston, SC is the number of events I can't attend because they are held mid-week or insufficiently publicized.

I actually like the CAA's Thursday-Saturday schedule because it allows me 2-3 trips to Williamsburg each year where I can actually use my season tickets twice.

I was able to attend a preseason scrimmage last year (how I got word of that I don't remember).

Lunch with Tony's obviously does me no good. And the OOC schedule has not been helpful in recent years. It has already been pointed out how important Saturday games are.

I am obviously an extreme case but while building the program with the help of the booster club I would think the needs of the Richmond, Norfolk and Northern Virginia fan bases must be taken into account.

When's the last time you attended a QB Club meeting?
