UTEP Picks Up Former Four Star Michigan Player

He does come with a bit of a troubled past. I do believe any young man who commits stupid mistakes should be allowed a second chance. Since he is eligible to play immediately he will make our offensive line stronger. We need all the help available to improve this football team. How would you rate his actions that led to his dismissal from Michigan?

UTEP has also added a couple of other transfers.

Our original recruiting class ranked last in CUSA but with the addition of these players it might translate into an extra unexpected win or two.

So he was a graduate transfer in 2016, but will be a graduate transfer in 2017 as well?!? Looks like a good pick up for UTEP, but I do not understand NCAA grad transfer rules. I get that he was a RS in '13, at UM in '14 and '15, then transferred to Akron in '16, so this year is within his 4 to play 5, but I did not realize you could grad transfer in consecutive years, always thought it was a one time thing.
