Tulsa has 8 men's sports to 9 ladies sports. Isn't This a Reverse Title 9 violation.

There are actually 7 men's sports and 9 women's sports at TU. I believe the NCAA requirement mandates an equal number of scholarships and equal treatment financially, rather than an equal number of sports.

Tulsa is one of just a handful of D-I universities that is in full, complete compliance with all Title IX rules.

Catbird has it right. It's not the number of sports that matters, it's the number of scholarships.

Obviously, football is the sport tipping the scale to the men's side. There are no women's sports that offer 75-85 scholarships. So that's why there are more women's programs... to make up the difference.
