Lowest ours has been in some time...

But I'll take being #52 with an under .500 record.

I also wonder what SMU could have averaged with a larger venue.

Yes, we've been good since 1981-82 minus 98-00 and the last 2 years.

Marshall was supposed to leave in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and now 2017.

Good question. Moody held 9,000 before the renovation in 2013 but we sucked then and I don't think anyone thought our demand would be what it is now. Hindsight is always 20/20 but 9,000 capacity would probably be the perfect number. I have no complaints because the current layout has the crowd right on top of the action and it has helped make Moody what it is today, a really tough place for opponents to play.

How much is the blame on the record vs the NBA team?

Has ticket pricing been raised?

Marshall was supposed to leave in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and now 2017.

And we averaged 7300 after a stretch of 12 straight years with a winning % of .519 or below but let's not let facts get in the way.

How much did you average during the 12 years where you were losing?

Can't tell if serious.

Hit 5500 after 7 straight losing seasons, that was our lowest.

100% blame on the record, Mark. We regularly filled up the place (18K) when Calipari's team went on that remarkable run from 2005-2009. The Grizzlies were there all that time.

Ticket prices were raised a little near the end of Cal's run, but not enough to matter, and they are back down some now, iirc.

No scientific way to tell, but I really don't think the Grizz affect Tigers attendance enough to notice. The crowds are much different. The Tigers crowd is a lot older, and not as diverse.

Both teams' attendance seems to depend on how good they are, year to year.

Woah. I had no idea that Memphis dipped that low this year. I always figure on you guys to be in the Top 15 to 20 in the country.......
