Dick Macpherson- Former SU Football Coach Died Today Age 86
One of the greatest fb coaches in SU history as he led SU's resurgence in the 1980's. That old guy was quite a character and he was beloved in Upstate NY.

His death was expected but doesn't make it any easier to process. He was beloved in CNY and his birthplace of Old Town, ME.

He came from a great family...very Catholic...he had 2 brothers that were priests and I believe a sister that was a nun...his brother Walter married my mom and dad back in the 1950's then my brothers to their wives in the 1980's.
