I like the 2-game in 3-day run of Syracuse and Cornell games. Being only an hour apart its like Finger Lakes region mini-tournament.

Consider the typical constraints of being a respectable mid-major team and Coach Kowalczyk is a scheduling guru.

UMKC before or after the Kansas game?

St joseph and Marshall did not come up in my search. They may not have come out with their schedule yet. As for MTSU see link above. As for why that would be a coach K question

I'm not ready for the cold, but I'm ready for some Rocket Roundball.

Should we expect the coverage from ESPN3 like last year? I hope so.

RE: Men's Basketball Dates trickling in
would prefer to have willie jackson for that tough early stretch w st joes, oakland, syracuse, kansas, texas southern, marshall, wright st, pretty all those teams have gone to the ncaas in the past couple years or at least won 20 games. i imagine he will be with the team for the final 3 jackson st, cleveland st, penn and then the MAC schedule.

overall, this is the best rocket schedule in a long time. no super sexy home games but 4 or 5 good mid majors. 3 historic road venues. games at kansas and syracuse will be very tough but give us a chance to get a major upset.

ain't that quick, ain't that big, but they can shoot. That could work in the MAC if only they could play good D.

RE: Men's Basketball Dates trickling in
Too many Christmas presents. ;-)

If I'm coach K, put the best athletes you have on the floor (hint, hint - Adway), let'em play.

MAC title is probably out of the question, but make it fun to watch. I do like the way they play, but not enough talent, which should be expected in the MAC. You need a legit big man to have a chance.

I remember when D mattered. I think there is a court named after a guy who believed in that.

The game has changed; they don't do D anymore.
