FAU is the new Last Chance U.

Wow. Those are two very impressive recruits for this league. They may be trouble, but they sure sound talented. If they actually see the field I would imagine they'll cause come problems for opponents.

He is obviously trying to win now and get a bigger program offer. It will be interesting to see if this gamble pays off for him. With every transfer, you take not only the player, but the baggage that comes with him. Some will work out, some may not. It will be interesting to watch.

Watching College Football Live on ESPN2 just now and not only did one of the analysts draw the Florida Atlantic-Last Chance U parallel, the other one (I think, I was on the can) called it Last Chance FAU.

They seemed OK with Kiffin taking a flyer on both guys, pointing out that since he's on his "fourth or fifth chance" he might be uniquely positioned to understand and help them take advantage of the opportunity.

They also mentioned the Ole Miss opening and whether Kiffin would take it, and they seemed to think that yes, he would.

If I'm Ole Miss I stay far away from Kiffin.

Add John Franklin III (auburn/last chance u season 1) to the FAU roster. He will be playing his graduate transfer year there

BTW, he also got QB Chris Robison from Oklahoma today. Robison, a true freshman, was dismissed for missing team meetings and an arrest for public intoxication before ever suiting up. But he was a 4* recruit.

I hope he's a master psychologist because that sounds like a damn circus. Cue the music!

I think we care because FAU is in our division and they are coming to Forman Field October 7th.

He could care less how he leaves the FAU program. Lane has one goal...get back to the P5. All it will likely take is one good year at FAU. He is trying to gear up for that right now.

This is how Lane Kiffin carrying all his transfers back to FAU...

Let's think about this....you have a school nobody knows or cares about,picked to do nothing this year ,the same as every other year. Along comes Lane Kiffen...now he has ESPN talking about them. He is gathering some top notch talents in these transfers...now our game with FAU takes on a whole new meaning and gets very interesting...That having been said...Lane Kiffen is doing a hall of a job so far at FAU.

FAU may as well be a juco that Kiffin is recruiting to. We will stomp them this year and they will continue to be irrelevant as about the 7th option for FB schools in Florida.

Its really a shame Lane is a terrible human being and sucks as a coach. But they should have talent.
