I wonder if the safety was paid off? (01-15-2018 09:52 PM)Wiessman Wrote: (01-15-2018 06:34 PM)Owl Is In Chains Wrote: https://twitter.com/TecmoBowlers
Replay of the final play of the Vikings win.
So crazy that it looks ridiculous even in Tecmo Bowl (technically, Tecmo Super Bowl).
Brutal.

You mean the same safety who had an interception 16 minutes earlier (game time) and was clearly attempting to return the INT for a TD if he hadn't barely stepped out of bounds? That seems ... like an insane suggestion. Unless you are just making a joke about the Tecmo Bowl safety, in which case ... my bad!

Not sure if this is the post to officially start a new 2018 NFL edition thread, but surprised (and happy) to see Ellerbee being considered for a starting job w/ the Falcons.
Without queueing any old DB tired threads, continues to be frustrating to see all the talent Rice has put at the next level on defense over-the-past decade but how poor the D performed while those same athletes were at Rice.

Ellerbee should have been drafted. He was far and away our best defensive player - the guys who went as graduate transfers to the other schools can be replaced. I'm not so sure you can say that about Ellerbee.

I'm encouraged that "under the radar" kids like Ellerbee show there is real talent available in our high school ranks that the P5 schools don't go after.
