He projects WMU as 5-3 in the MAC. I assume two of those losses are @ Toledo and @ NIU. I wonder who he's pegging as the 3rd loss.

NIU at 8-4 (6-2). What is the justification for that?

Same with Miami at 6-6 (4-4)...

If this prediction pans out, Bowden, Bonamego and Haynes are all canned. I could see CMU giving Bono one more year because he's an alum, but their roster is loaded with seniors. It's time for the chimps to put up or shut up.

No college football journalist knows/respects the G5 more than Paul Meyerberg. Not saying he's always right, but he does make informed decisions.

Miami avoids Toledo and NIU from the West and the only strong MAC opponent we play on the road is OU, we ain't finishing 4-4 in the MAC.

Myerberg does seem to have a little bit of Huskie bias in him, he is usually very kind to NIU and Id say that 8-4 projection fits that bias.

The records might be up for debate but the overall standing seems about right.

I'm most puzzled BGSU; they could be very good but I can't get a pulse on their coach.

You act like not playing NIU is a good thing.

It might be. Depends entirely upon the QB situation. I think we have enough talent in other areas to be a problem for most MAC teams.

NIU has the players we just don't have the right head coach.

Akron has the players, it's just a matter of them being healthy. Considering who went down last year, getting to 5-7 was an accomplishment.
