If this prediction pans out, Bowden, Bonamego and Haynes are all canned. I could see CMU giving Bono one more year because he's an alum, but their roster is loaded with seniors. It's time for the chimps to put up or shut up.

No college football journalist knows/respects the G5 more than Paul Meyerberg. Not saying he's always right, but he does make informed decisions.

Myerberg does seem to have a little bit of Huskie bias in him, he is usually very kind to NIU and Id say that 8-4 projection fits that bias.

The records might be up for debate but the overall standing seems about right.

I'm most puzzled BGSU; they could be very good but I can't get a pulse on their coach.

It might be. Depends entirely upon the QB situation. I think we have enough talent in other areas to be a problem for most MAC teams.

NIU has the players we just don't have the right head coach.

Akron has the players, it's just a matter of them being healthy. Considering who went down last year, getting to 5-7 was an accomplishment.
