It's hard to have long catch and runs in shells though because it's two hand touch.

Any chance Cole Tucker will find playing time as a true Freshman? All of Dekalb would be out to see him debut as a NIU Huskie.

I think they have to play some freshman wideouts, both because they're a little thin this year and they'll be a lot thin next year. Going into 2018 the only veteran wideouts will be DJ Brown, Jauan Wesley and Spencer Tears. They need to get Parchment and a couple of the true freshmen some game experience this year.

The same logic holds for cornerback. Going into 2018 the only experienced corners will be Smalls, Embry and Isom, hence the need to get Dillon Thomas some experience this year.

Quick correction - although officials will be at the practices previously listed as scrimmages and there will be "team" (11 on 11 periods) the only official scrimmage is on 8/15. The others were never supposed to be listed as scrimmages so this is not a major change, just were listed incorrectly. That has been updated on Training Camp Central.

I really don't think NIU is going to pass the ball all year. The Huskies aren't good enough to get away with that, not even close

I don't like that DCC reporter tweeting plays or wrinkles, and injuries unless NIU has first released this information.
