For me, as a Louisville fan, it is Clemson.

All 3 games in the series have been down to the wire, with Clemson edging us out in all 3 occasions.

Game 1 ended inside the 10, with the Cards failing to finish the drive. Lost 23 - 17.

Game 2 Cards lost at home, 20-17.

Game 3, another loss, 42 - 36, with the Cards stalling at the 3 yard line, coming up a yard short on 4th down.

I expect we will end that streak this season. If we don't, in our home opener, with the returning Heisman Trophy winner, and Clemson replacing all they have to replace, well ...... we may never beat them.

Normally I would say Clemson because 'to be the man you've got to beat the man' but we have WVU OOC in a neutral site game and VT is 0-7 in regular season neutral site games since joining the ACC. To beat WVU and break that streak would mean more than beating Clemson.

This is an easy question: Virginia Tech

I want to beat them this season for a number of reasons, but the two biggest reasons are:
*I like to win - especially against good teams
*We'd have to play them in order to beat them, and waiting until our next game in 202? is too long of a wait

They all take a back seat to the SEC East. I'm wondering how many SEC East teams have to be beaten before GT gets invited to play Alabama instead.

That being said, I'm assuming that the question is which ACC team you want to beat the most. If we lose to VT and/or Louisville, the FSU game is much less interesting for the division race. It's still a GREAT rivalry, though.

Clemson is probably the more important game, but it's always going to be Miami. Got to keep the streak going.

Hmm, tough one to call as a VT fan. Since WVU doesn't actually answer the question posed, I'll actually say Miami.

I'd really like to beat Clemson in Lane Stadium, but I think the more important game for VT's chances to win the Coastal lies in beating The U.

The list is long this year though - I want revenge for the GT game last year, I want to beat down UNC again but without hurricane conditions just to prove that the Heels can't hang, and I always want to embarrass the booHoos in Charlottesville.

I didn't even know it was a trophy game.

The state of South Carolina clearly has next to NOTHING to do in it.
