Bryan is a very "present" player, he is focused on today, this play, this rep. That being said, it is only human nature for him to feel snubbed and for that I have pity on every team we line up against this year.

hahahah.....^ YES

Yeah, this shat needs to be spread out or else I'm going to do my best Fred Sanford.

The not All-American starting QB Bryan Schor is somehow on the Walter Payton Award Watch List.

Greg Madia‏
@Madia_DNRSports

JMU QB Bryan Schor has been named to the STATS FCS Walter Payton Award watch list.

Bryan Schor threw 6 picks last year on 297 attempts. His 29 TD to 6 INT ratio is terrific. He completed 73% of his attempts. And, just for giggles, he rushed for 569 yards.

I think he will put up even better numbers potentially, but if you told me he'd have those same numbers this upcoming season I would take them and laugh all the way to another national title. Of course, that's what QB's are often measured by anyway - titles, rings, etc.

"Some positive news for JMU’s offensive line is that senior left tackle Aaron Stinnie did practice after missing most of the spring with an injury. Houston said the staff would ease Stinnie in, but that he is excited to have his All-American tackle back."

From Madia's field notes today. Good news for those wondering about Stinnie.

I am concerned about our right side of the line on offense. Chavious is a huge loss. New center, right guard and right tackle. Hope we don't over commit to the left side and can stay balanced. I know nothing of whoever will fill those right side spots, but they have some growing up to do going against ECU in the opener. Someone in the know post some links on the guys expected to play guard and tackle please.

Not as worried about Center as I thought I would. Mac is going to be a stud there for us for a while. Will be very curious to see how the potential parings at RG/RT do. From looks and what I saw on twitter it looked like Gerren Butler at RG and Jahee Jackson at RT

Jahee is a very, very athletic OL. Gerren has put on a good deal of weight since he's gotten here

Worried about line as well but I think a couple of our young lineman are some real studs. Maybe Liam Fornadel. Don Bosco Prep plays big time high school football.

Nick Carlton will play some slot and Will be a tough match up for DB's. We will have some bumps because I really think the league is tough. Huesman is a helluva coach so UR will not miss a beat and Rocco will make Delaware tough. So we could lose a couple in conference.

We will play excellent defense, have great special teams, will score a ton of points and will be fun to watch. Houston is special, his track record at three places is exceptional. Cannot wait.

We are not losing to the tics at home this year .no chance
Bury that thought.

Anything is possible which men (like yourself), who have played the game know, and the old cliche "that's why the games are played" is true. That said, our toughest games are played at home this season, and the one question mark (UD) on the road is more about what Rocco can bring to the game in his first season. Talent wise JMU should run the blue chickens off their home field.

Andrew Ankrah is on the Buck Buchanan watch list. Lets sweep both awards on our way to Frisco!

Schor has great talent and has really matured as a passer but if there's one chink in his armor it's his reads and throws under pressure. He had a number of picks early in critical games and had quite a few errant passes snagged by our acrobatic receivers, most of whom are gone. So as much as he has improved (and continues to improve) I'm hoping we have WRs that can step up this year and continue to mitigate a potentially damaging limitation.

Madia has a good story on Nick Carlton on Dukes of JMU sight. He will play tight end, slot and wide receiver. He could by the X factor in the passing game. I think we have a lot of talent ready to get on the field and shine.

Madia is excellent

According to Madia, he's going to play in the slot as well as TE! So you guys thinking that one of our main sets will be with Nick as TE2/WR3 in addition to Kloosterman?
