This gets to a question I've asked before but haven't had answered. Who chooses the starters, (excepting those that totally separate themselves from the pack)? Is it the position coach?, Carey unilaterally, Carey in consultation with the position coaches or a group assessment of all coaches with Carey as the final determinate vote?

I think that Lynch will have some input but 7 is correct that he will not and should not be the loudest voice in the room when that decision is made.

A coaching staff is among other things a management team and great teams listen to and learn from each other. They would be wise to at least ask for Lynch's perceptions before making the QB decision and I am sure that they will do so.

A lot of people must have input because we usually have 3 starters.
