Solid helmet with a solid rocket, PLEASE. The two tone stuff is garbage.

I love the color fade blue/gold helmet or matte blue with oversized gold Rocket.

easier for me to pick the ones I don't like. Don't like ohio logo, "glass city," blue matte or two tone. The large "UT" looks more like YT but otherwise I like it. I like the white with blue rocket, that would make a good Togue. Every helmet design should have a matching togue.

the matte blue with the yellow rocket sticker is top 3 all day. the two-tone? not so much.

Simplicity is key. Often needless things and people complicate what is already fine.

Changes can disaffect not only the traditionalists. It's nice to be the "good guy," pretend to be the 100 year old hipster and cater to the kids but ultimately, strength grows through teaching and bringing the new into the traditions. Letting them know they are valued into what had made success before. Constantly changing, does that help, particularly when perception is, it's just some uniform company trying to sell product?

Successfull changes and additions to tradition come organically, rarely planned in a board room.
A fun day, these are nice when everyone can be confident it's only a day of dress-up before a return to the recognizable.

Mainly because of Roback. Unless your staff comes up with a adequate replacement
EMU is not a Bowl qualifier. QB is the only position that has such tremendous impact on a game's outcome. Grissom was huge loss.

We were a bowl qualifier last year. Continue to focus on Roback like he's the entire offense instead of impressive depth at RB and WR. And lets not forget the defense.

Akron should only go with a solid, block A on their helmet (and no 'roo). Not a fan of using the first letter of your nickname. I know it's hard to conceptualize a 'zip' into something visual, but the big Z just seems odd.

The Z looks faster than an A would. It is the horizontal lines of the Z rather than the vertical lines of an A. If I were an Akron fan, I would probably prefer an actual kangaroo symbol to the Z on the helmet. Just like I prefer the Rocket over a T or an R, ha, that would be just wierd.
