Definitely a good year for QBs in the Sun Belt. I didn't know Linehan was #2 in FBS in career passing yards. Kinda cool that #1 and #2 play within an 8-minute drive of each other.

Massive dose of respect for Linehan from this Warhawk fan. Not only for his on the field talent, but his character as well. For the Idaho fans on this board, this kid gets it. Short story, he made his way over to a young lady being recognized at halftime during our game last season to speak to and give her a hug. This brave young lady is a friend of ours and cancer survivor. I can tell you it meant the world to her and her family that he left his warmups to do what he did. Kudos to this young man. He is a winner on the field and in life.

That's great to hear. I've never met anyone around Idaho who has one bad thing to say about the guy.

Well now you can say that stretches all the way down to Louisiana. He was the ONLY one from either team that did that. Just thought someone would like to know that have a classy kid leading their team. Very exciting game though!

Rare air my ass . . . these 3 clowns can't touch Ryan Aplin. Corey Robinson was prolific, but a loser!

That game was tense. You guys are going to be a lot better this year and I'm very glad we're playing in Moscow this time.

Much improved but probably a year away from very good. Our OOC schedule is brutal. By the way, I was a big fan of Aplin. The kid was just a winner. Our current QB, Garrett Smith, reminds me a little of him. If we can keep him healthy, he will be an all conference contender before he leaves. Kid is tough as nails, but took a hell of a beating along the way. You can't always run THROUGH guys when you're 6', 210 lbs. lol

CR was not a loser. He is just an unlucky scapegoat of a crumbling Trojan football program. Prolific offense with sub-par defenses.

It's nice that he did that but don't imply that all the other players should be condemned for not doing the same thing. His action is commendable and touching but it does not make him "classier" than the other players.

Yes. I'm sure that by paying a compliment to Matt Linehan he was actually trying to imply that every college football player, no, every human, is a heartless monster who doesn't care at all about cancer.
Ah, college football forums. Where any comment, no matter how innocuous, can start a fight. Stay classy, Internet.

SOT not my intent at all to imply anything negative toward ANY other players. It was kind of chaotic as haftime was ending and the teams were warming up. I just found it exceptional that the young man stopped what he was doing and made his way over to her to do what he did. Geez man, don't read more in to it than it is.....

I enjoyed having Linehan in the league. Great player and individual.
