RE: 2018 Football Recruiting Rankings
Tulane just picked up its 6th 3star commit for 2018. 2017 class ended up with only 4.
Right now there are only 3 teams ahead of us on average, although we've only got 7 recruits listed on 247 and 9 overall.

At the rate UCF is going we won't have as good a class as last year, but we do have five less scholarships to give

247 has us ranked top 50 and a higher average than anyone.

Unless I'm going blind they've got UCF at 14 commits with an 83.63 average and UC with 16 commits at an 83.80 average...both are a full point ahead of the next highest average rating (USF: 82.43), but UCF is noticeably not higher that UC, with less commits. We also have the top two commits in the conference by rating (Malik Vann and Josh Whyle) and 3 of the Top 5.

Cincinnati's average is slightly higher but it's really close.

I looked earlier today and we had a higher average. I could have just misread it. Either way rivals system has always been a little conservative.

I think 247 does a better job overall.

Looks like a glitch. They also rate him 1200th in the nation. He's got some P5 offers but none from Top 25 schools. (BC, Syracuse, Rutgers).

He's a 2-star 77 overall and 1216 ranked player nationally.

Definitely a glitch, his rating (which only goes to 1) is 1.60, whereas the top recruit in the nation is rated 0.997.

I think so too, however they are slower at getting commits listed. At the time I posted that they only had 5 or 6 listed out of 8 and only 3 of them were rated. Now they have 8 listed and rated out of 9 total commits.

RE: 2018 Football Recruiting Rankings
Current AAC top 5 in recruiting.
247:
1. Cincinnati
2. USF
(3). UConn (I think this is a mistake, they have one recruit listed as a 5 star, but he's not that highly rated)
3. Houston
4. UCF
5. SMU
Rivals:
1a/1b. Houston/USF (tied)
3. SMU
4. Cincinnati
5. Temple
Guys from several lists have not been rated, so that could change rankings. By the way, the top 5 in AAC is also the top 5 in the G4 plus the AAC.

3* CT TE/DE Rondell Bothroyd had offers from UConn, BC, Yale, Nova.
3* NY WR Sean Ryan had offers from BC, Maryland, Nebraska, Purdue, Rutgers, Cuse, WMU, Buffalo, Bowling Green.

It's very clearly a mistake. If you take Travis Jones off of their commit list, they drop to last in the conference by a lot. The top recruit in the country isn't worth enough to propel you from 12th to 3rd in any conference by himself.

RE: 2018 Football Recruiting Rankings
The kid from uconn has a 1.6 rating lol that would be good enough for the #1 overall prospect not the 50th ranked guard. Its clearly an error. The rating system is only supposed to go up to .9999
