Exclamation 36 Days to Kickoff... #36 R-Jr. LB Robert Carter Jr.

Robert hails from Baltimore and is pursuing his degree in Marketing. Earlier this week he was chosen to the Preseason All-CAA Defensive Team for his play on special teams. Robert attended Florida A&M his frosh season before transferring closer to back home to JMU. Robert's brother, Ron'Dell, will be lining up on the defense this fall as he transferred in from Rutgers earlier this year (Robert's bio needs a refresh, btw). You know the Carter family has to be jacked up to be able to see two of their sons/brothers lining up together in purple. Good luck to Robert this fall.

Given Robert's size and obvious speed (track wins in hurdles), I would think his natural position is SS, not LB.
