In the picture of the trolley car, note the cable hanging from the trolley where it touched its power wire. The trolley was mounted on a swivel atop the car and when the vehicle reached the end of its route, the driver would pull the trolley down off the wire, pull it around to the other end and then move his control handle to the other end of the car and head back.

The more aerodynamic "streamliners" seen in other pictures ran on 1st Ave north from the Roebuck golf course to downtown. Later there were double trolley busses which needed no tracks.

I rode the Rugby Ave. Line from 87th and 5th Ave north to Barrett School. It then ran out Rugby Ave. to near Ruhama Baptist Church where it ended, then headed back.
