I would like to go to the East if for no other reason than to have more games in prime time on local tv. I also have always felt like Memphis as a city has more in common with the Chicago's, Milwaukee's, and Cleveland's than we do with the Sacramento's, Portland's and Salt Lake City's of the country. I do take issue with the writers statement about moving Memphis to the East when he says "and hopefully they can get better quickly to boost the East’s overall power." Has this guy had his head in the sand the past seven seasons? Of all the West teams, only the Spurs have more consecutive playoff appearances than the Grizz. Being in the top eight, in the West no less, all those seasons in a row, is something to be very proud of.

Grizzlies and Hornets moving to the East would be great. The Hawks would be an obvious rival.

It would make sense to have KC, OKC, and Memphis grouped together. But hell, it doesnt matter.
