Some guy was being interviewed today and said he was currently banned from this forum for a year. He even gave a shout out to Jamammy and also to "a Ga Tech fan who owns the messageboard."

Gary Parrish and Brad Carson said they were gonna do a driveby and check us out. Great publicity for the forum.

Maybe I caught 'em on a good day? I had to pull off the road I was laughing so hard. They got into AAU birth certificates for African players being filled out in pencil when they come into the country to play basketball and 13-year olds making trips to Vegas to play AAU.

Love the GP show, like Calkins though he's a better writer, really like Vernon's podcast as well. Jason and John are growing on me. They get good guests. Really like Jason...he's pretty compelling.

I liked Parrish back when he had actual connections to the program and could give insight. These days he likes to act as though he knew of things after they happened. For instance the Ole Miss issues.. "right after Freeze was hired I was talking to a buddy (that I won't name) and he told me he would be a good hire if he didn't get caught in a sex scandal".... Of course he knew all about Freeze's sex issues years in advance but couldn't say anything until he was caught. That is common for Parrish now.

No kidding - most people in the South aren't self aware enough to even close their mouth when watching stuff like TV shows. Distract them even a little and the jaw slacks -

Seriously, so many people from this area complain about media coverage. Go almost anywhere else in the U.S. and it makes Memphis look fantastic in that regard. I have traveled with work and lived in other areas and it is hard to even find college scores in most places, much less constant coverage.

I disagree, although I concede it is a matter of taste. Nashville sports talk shows are vastly superior to shows in Memphis. It takes quite a stench to avert my attention from Tiger discussion, but the putrid Memphis hosts make me gag.

FWIW, seldom will I listen to or read articles penned by Parrish while he remains unrepentant for his unprofessional behavior at the NC game against Kansas.

Finally gave up listening to Parrish and Jason/John when they clearly went after Tubby all spring and my afternoons are much better for it. Several good channels to listen to on Sirius XM, makes you realize how amateur the local guys are.

He high 5ed (someone) at the NC game when Chalmers made his shot.
With a big smile on his face.
Why? Because he hates Cal that much. Parrish has a BIGGER ego than Cal.

The first talk show Parrish had, Cal was booked(the first day).
Cal was a no show.

Now, from that, Parrish would rather we lose the nc game, than win.

That's why. There's your story-and the reason so many don't at all like that condescending fool.
