Well it is an analysis of 185 studies, so it depends on how good those are. Question is what % of men in these countries are shooting blanks. Hoping to wrap up a business deal with an in vitro fertilization practice group real soon, their business is good.

One of these late night TV commercials promotes a testosterone booster by claiming that men today have less testosterone than their fathers and their fathers had less than their grandfathers. Don't know that its true, but the sperm study (and observation!) indicate its probably true.

It would be interesting if they compared rural to city counts. Is there some trigger that reduces fertility when people are crowded closer together? A genetic defense from hundreds of thousands of years ago against overpopulation leading to starvation? Women have reduced fertility when they have low body fat, like a number of competitive runners, which seems to be a protection against adding to the population in times of limited food.

It may be accelerated evolution because we used to have two parent households with three to eight kids per home, now not so much.
