RE: Washington Post is a Lobbying arm for Amazon
there's a couple of very smart people here that have told me lobbying wasn't an issue in cause/effect forethought....

this is why antitrust laws were enacted but are now ineffective.....the money is too big once again.....

controlling the media is out of gas in my land o' patience.....I have zero sympathy in today's version of monopolistic creation......it was necessary during the industrial revolution......today, it's a motherfucking plague.....

and so many folks wonder "why"...... phucking dipshites....

fair game???.....go to the carny and figure it out....

As most things in DC lobbying has and does serve a purpose. But like most things in DC, the process is often abused. Various attempts have been made to rein in lobbying with little or no success.

Amazon is quickly becoming a significant player in the American economy and as such, its power is scary. Whether Amazon's success is simply a matter of a guy recognizing the opportunities afforded by our capitalist system, or a significant threat to our fundamental concepts of capitalism, remains to be seen. But I would suspect that Amazon, along with Google and Facebook, are becoming more than elephants in the room.

It probably would be better for America had Bezos bought the Redskins and not the Post.

They controlled a lot of newspapers and TV news during the 50's-70's.
